About the Lab

The Anatomy and Physiology Laboratory at Sai Care College of Physiotherapy is a cornerstone of the B.P.Th curriculum. Designed to support the first two years of the program, the lab provides students with direct, tactile access to anatomical specimens and models to build a thorough understanding of the human body.

Equipped to MUHS standards, the lab features osteological specimens, articulated skeletons, organ models, histological slides, and interactive digital anatomy resources. Students develop proficiency in identifying structures, understanding functional anatomy, and correlating theory with clinical application.

Regular practical sessions, model demonstrations, and chart work ensure students enter clinical placements with a strong anatomical foundation critical for diagnosing musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions.
