Anti-Ragging Policy
Sai Care College of Physiotherapy maintains a zero-tolerance policy on ragging as mandated by the Supreme Court of India and UGC guidelines.
What Constitutes Ragging
Any of the following acts — individually or collectively — constitute ragging and are prohibited:
- Teasing, rude behavior, or any form of harassment of a student
- Activities causing fear, hardship, or humiliation to any student
- Forcing students into inappropriate or degrading acts
- Disrupting academic activities or obstructing studies
- Exploitation of junior students for tasks or services
- Financial extortion or demanding money from students
- Physical or sexual abuse in any form
- Verbal insults or public humiliation
- Mental harassment that affects a student's confidence or wellbeing
Action by Institution Head
⚠️ An FIR (First Information Report) must be filed within 24 hours of any reported ragging incident.
The institution is legally obligated to take immediate action. The following offences trigger institutional and police response:

| Level 10 | Expulsion and debarral from admission in any institution |
Report Ragging Immediately
If you witness or experience ragging, report it immediately to the Principal's office or call the 24×7 UGC Anti-Ragging Helpline: 1800-180-5522. All complaints are treated with strict confidentiality.
