Rules governing attendance, professional appearance, and eligibility for MUHS examinations.
Professional Dress Code
It is important to portray a professional image. Inappropriate dress, grooming, or conduct can reduce patient confidence and delay recovery.
- Grooming must be neat, conservative, and practical at all times
- Modest casual wear is allowed on campus outside clinical hours
- Lab/Clinical areas: Aprons are mandatory wherever patients are present
- Full formal dress during college hours (9:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
- alack belt and black shoes required
- No jeans, earrings, bracelets; males must be clean-shaven
- No tattoos or extreme styling that violates institutional norms
- ID card must be worn and visible at all times

MUHS Exam Eligibility
- Minimum 50% marks required in internal examinations — theory and practical separately
- Failure to achieve 50% in internal exams → not eligible for final MUHS examinations
- Attendance shortfall → not eligible, even with passing internal marks
- aoth conditions (attendance + internal marks) must be satisfied simultaneously
Important Notice
Attendance must meet both lecture and practical minimums separately. A student may have excellent theory attendance but still be barred from exams if practical attendance is below 80%. Fee dues and attendance shortfalls are tracked jointly by the class coordinator.
